The back story. About 2.5 weeks ago I popped 9 seeds (3 x cream caramel. 3 x black jack and 3x blue himalayan diesel) in jiffy plugs. After a week only 4 had shown signs of life so I put them into 6 ltr pots and in my tent. It turns out my ballast wasn't working so my little plants stayed on the kitchen side for about 4 days, in which time I think they stretched. After I had exchanged the ballast they went in the tent.

With the other 5 seeds that showed no signs of life, I potted into party cups and threw them in the tent on Friday (4 days ago) and there has been signs of life.

I'm using a tent 3 x 3 x 5, 400w hps, exhaust fan and filter, passive intake, soil (allmix). Temps are running between 72-80, humidity around 30%. I've not used any nutes yet (I have PM old timer grow and bloom when the time comes).

I would appreciate it if you could take a look at my pics and give any advice/criticism etc etc. Please bear in mind this is my first grow and I have already exceeded my budget so I have no more money to spend.

Thanks, BJ.

They look pretty good to me for a week old. Humidity is a touch low,the little ones usually like it 50-60% but yours look like their fine so if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Thanks mate, I was hoping to hear that. I guess I'm a bit impatient... I thought the humidity was a bit low so I've been using a water bottle to mist them every few hours.

Just a tip i picked up to raise humidity. I use a big piece of flannel or a small bath towel and soak it with water-wring it out and hang it in the growcloset-it'll raise your humidity level as the towel drys out. Only sucky part is you gotta keep the towel wet a few times a day to keep a constant humidity.

Your seedlings look ok but don't overwater them. They look super wet now so leave them dry out a while. If you have room you can put a cake pan filled with water in the tent to raise the humidity.

Cheers guys. I added a couple of wet towels to the tent a few hours ago and the humidity went up to 37%, so I've put a jug of water in the tent. It's all progress though.

I think I have been over-watering a bit, I'll wait until the soil get quite arid before I water again.
