I know the short stuff MI5's light time is 20 hours/per day during the flowering,
what if I just use 12 hours/per day?
it will make something wrong on the MI5?
please help me,thks

Hey there and welcome to the AFN vincent. You can use 12/12, and they will still Auto and grow and bud, but your yield will suffer with only the 12 hours. I recommend at least 16, or go 20 on 4 off, that's what I see most, even 24 full on. But I think plants need a sleep time especially during flowering.

thanks for the recommend from The Squid
but I plant MI5 with Northen Light(not auto-flowering),so what should I do?

If you have the space then just keep the schedule at 20/4 until the MI5 are done. Then switch the NL to 12/12 to flower and finish. Just keep in mind the NL will nearly double in size or more after 12/12.

No, the NL will need 12/12 to flower. What Squid is saying is leave your lights on 20/4 till the Mi5 is done, then switch to 12/12 to flower the NL. Just realize if you go that way, the NL is going to get BIG. Photo plants will double or triple in size after the lights are switched to 12/12.

Another option is to leave the lights on 20/4 and after 12 hours, move the NL to a completely dark place. Then next day, put it back under the light. You would need to do this everyday. Best not to try growing autos and photos under the same light.

I got it~thanks a lot
and also thanks Squid again~
I'll move MI5 to another room
and another question about NL,I use 20/4 for growing,is that will going to be okay?

Yeah the 20 hours for the Auto all the way and for the NL's veg cycle is just fine. But when you're ready to flower, just make sure you can pull it out and somewhere dark for 12 hours then back in to the tent for 12 hours of light. It'll be pretty aggravating, but you could do it.

Only option besides what I mentioned before.

Most use 18/6 for vegging photo plants but 20/4 also works.
