hello everyone first time auto grower, I just picked up some Big Bud 0-1-3 , Overdrive 1-5-4, and Snow Storm Ultra. Right now im using the big bud, im wondering how often do i feed my plants? it says add 2 ml's per liter but doesnt mention how often i should feed them? im growing Lowryder Cobra if that matters. Im very new to growing and this is my first auto so please be easy on me :toke:

Hey man, how old are your plants? Normally you would want to feed with every watering with grow while they are growing, and with grow and bloom while they are budding. Dosage: you start low and increase gradually, depending how your plants like it. Now, those nutrients you have I don't know them:P I guess they are supplements for flowering? Anyway, some people should be able to help you much more than I do :smoke:

Hey mass, you need to give more time than an hour before bumping your thread. Patience young one.
look up your nutrients online and they should have a feeding schedule. We know nothing about your grow. Indoors our out, soil or hydro, lighting, ventilation, pot size, anything. All of those are factors in your grow.

Until then here's a link I found a lot of information about those nutes in.

Hi Mass welcome,
There are many here that you will find very helpful but experience says a lil more information will b needed. Usually folks want to know... like Eschatos asked the age of the plants, type of plants, set up ect.
I am also very new doing my first grow, I have also found alot of helpful information by surfing the site. Enjoy your grow :)

I have 2 female Lowryder Cobras, both are 1 month old and 2 weeks into flowering. Up to this point they have been fed nothing but water. Both are in Miracle grow organic soil and are under several cfl's.

today i bought these things from my local grow store

Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 0-1-3 (liquid)

Advanced Nutrients - Overdrive 1-5-4 (liquid)

Humboldt County's Own - Snow Storm Ultra (liquid)

the Big Bud says use during weeks 2 - 4 of flowering, thats how far along my girls are right now. Has anybody used advanced nutrients Big Bud with lowryders before? Should i give half dose ?

At onemonth old your plants should be able to use the full recomended dose. You didn't say the numbers on the snow storm ultra but the overdrive 1-5-4 is higher in phospherus and and should be better than the big bud for flowering. At four weeks old they should have had some nitrogen nutes from week two to encourage veg grow so im not sure what condition your girls are at this point. If your leaves are a pale green or light green try and get them a little nitrogen.

Hey Mass,

Miracle grow organic soil
That's quite a strong soil.. so the first question I'm wondering is do your plants actually need any food yet? If they don't, why worry?

I've grown autos in strong soil without needing extra nutes for the entire grow. It depends a lot on the size of your plants and the size of the pot they're in. As a rough guide.. a 15ltr pot with strong soil and smallish plants could get you through the entire grow on just water.

A picture or two would really help us get an idea of where your girls are at. The amount/frequency of feed to give them (if needed) depends largely on their current size and state.

Welcome to AFN. I'm going to move your thread over to the New Growers forum where we can better focus on helping you through your first grow.

Generally speaking, most of us avoid using any Miracle Grow products, especially their soil. They are not friendly to growing weed and can be difficult to manage at times. At 4 weeks your plants are still in pre flower and won't go into full flower until about week 6. While they are in still in veg they should be feed a nutrients that is higher in N. Everything you have now is for flowering. Also, bear in mind that the feeding schedules published by the nute manufacturers are for photo plants, not autos. In general autos are a little more nute sensitive and require less feeding than photos.

Take a look at this thread. It will give you a better understand of what to expect from your autos. https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html
