Hi everyone. I go by BigD. First grow here. Got bag of HappyFrog and Light warrior and was planning on using the ferts but they were unavailable. I was sold some Humboldt Nutrients MasterA and MasterB two part solution but I cant find any info other than their web page. Anyone have experience with this stuff? What else should I need? Ca/Mg supp? Any help is greatly appreciated. Will be growing 2 auto Bubblicious from Nirvana first and the some fem NL from them as well. Gonna use the Blackstar 240. Also some supplemental cfl for down low. First grow and autos seemed like my ticket. After seeing this forum I was sold. My space will be about 2.5'x3'x8'. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've have the Humboldt Nutes Organic line. Never used their chem line but I would get their Cal/Mag for sure (I use Equilibrium). You should be alright starting out with just those 3. You can use some Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses (1tsp per gallon). Happy Frog is great stuff. Just be sure not to over water as it can be a bit heavy. If you are mixing the LW with HF it would lighten it up a bit. I don't know your plans.

Welcome to the site BigD

Not sure about those nutrients.
But the rule of thumb for autos when it comes to nutrients are;
1) Wait 2 weeks before you start to use nutrients
2) Start with 1/4 of what the recommended dosage is and slowly build up never go over the recommendation

Stay tight and someone with more knowledge will come around

Wow. Thanks guys. That was quick. Going to mix the LW with the HF. I told the guy I was looking to go organic but he said for my first grow these would make it easy on me. I can refine my preferences and methods as i learn them. LOL. I can grow some mean corals so I am hoping these wont give me many issues. I know I have lots to learn and this seemed to be the most knowledgeable site for autos which i am starting with before the photos. I will get some molasses and the cal/mag supp. I just want to give them the best chance at greatness. The genetics are in place so it will be up to me. Any more info is great. And once again...Thank You. I feel truly welcomed.

Oh yeah....the feeding schedule is confusing me. Do I use the basic or professional guidelines? The basic starts at 3ml of both a and b on first week but the pro starts at 1ml. In order to not nuke them which one do i start at 1/4 strength? Lol. I did research for months and STILL have all the little questions to ask. Thanks guys.

Some auto strains can be a bit nutrient sensitive so it's always best to start low and work up. 1/4 strength should be a good start. See how they like that and then move up slowly. With many strains it's pretty common to never go above 1/2 or 3/4 strength.

I would second getting some cal/mag. Cal/mag deficiencies are fairly common and it's always good to have some on hand in case one pops up. You'll be able to respond to it much faster if you already have it.
