Hello to all. Completely new to growing. I love in a very small apartment so I really don't have space to grow and my wife has never been ok with it till recently, so now I can.. lol.. anyhow.. I bought myself a old school Fisher stereo component cabinet and took all the shelves out, painted the glass top and door with black spray paint then applied an old emergency blanket to the walls lid and door, installed lights attached to the lid and added a small fan. Now I have ordered some blue mystic auto seeds from Nirvana and am excitedly awaiting them to show up. I plan on growing then in a small DWC system.
In the meantime back towards the end of June I had bought I beautiful quarter of blue dream for my local dispensary and in that quarter I found 1 lonely seed. I only smoke outside and I have an avocado that I had started from seed 4 years ago out basking in the sun and I just tossed that lonely seed at my avocado with no intention of making into the planter. A couple of days later I happen to look over at my avocado and here is this little seedling about 5 inches out of the soil, so I immediately transplanted it to a separate container as I don't want to f up my avocado. Well after about 2 weeks that little seedling was around 2 got tall and growing slow at least to me so I again transplanted it into want will be it's final pot. Now this plant has been outside in the sun this whole time and I have been reading to much on the internet and i chopped the hell out of this poor little lady. I then read about lst, and like a moron I decided to try it. But being new and an idiot I bent back and held the fan leaves.. can you say dumb ass.. well after more reading and realizing I'm an idiot, I cut the fan leaves off.. well more this poor plant has been through hell all at my stupid hands and it was growing way slow. To be expected, poor little thing. Well I finished my grow box and figured why not stick this poor plant in there and see what happens. I'm running 2 60w led grow lights from Walmart as well as 2 40w daylight LEDs from Walmart. After lst ing the main stalk like your supposed to, again I'm a dumb ass, I have so far had it in the grow box for 2 days and wow all I can say is what a resilient plant.
