Hi all,

Plants are going to be suffering from heat stress quite a lot when I need to keep cabinet doors closed (on a third floor, ambient temps are already 23c-25c in room, so cabinet gets HOT (28-40c depending on top or bottom of cabinet at worst) I have 2 fans inside and an exhaust, but I'm going to have to deal with it.

I've read that seaweed extract and silica are among the best things to feed plants to increase their resistance to heat stress and improve other things, although heat stress is my main concern.

I am using the BB line, so I was considering adding Alg-A-Mic to my schedule. Is this any good and would it help my problem? Anybody got experience with this?

Also, I'm torn between Botanicare's Silica Blast and Bloom's Silica yellow bottle (which reads at 53.2% potassium silicate) although is more expensive.

Any info/opinions would be great!

Cheers :smoking:

no one? need advice pretty bad...reached 45c canopy level last night.

I had terrible luck with biobizz. As for adding nutrients to offset the stress I'm not sure any bottle will offset these numbers. Maybe try adding one of those co2 bags in there. Not as effective with the vent going but plants can tolerate higher temps and thrive in them with co2 levels being raised.
