Have any of you tried the paper bag drying method and the regular method for it?

I only have the room for 1 tent and I am doing autos in a perpetual harvest so the light is on in the tent 24/0. I want good odor control. I have looked into ways to dry in the tent with plants in it. The only 1 I found is the paper bag method though I wonder if it has the same quality as drying the regular way in a tent. What do you think? Have you tried both? How do the two compare? DO you know of any different ways to dry in the tent with plants in the tent on there?

I have 1 tent, I grow in it, when the grow is finished I dry my crop in it. Towards the end of drying I drop my next beans in water, prep their final pots (I plant seeds directly in to final pots). By the time I’m finished drying in the tent and get the buds out I’m ready for the next grow to start. Each grow gives me enough yeild to see me through till the next grow/drying cycle is over so I don’t run out.

My drying methods are much easier. I use a large tote that's prepared with hangers inside and vented just for drying weed. Small fan on one end drawing air across plants hanging inside. 2-4 days later, snip nuggs from the stems, place loosely in brown paper bags to continue drying until 60-62%...If particulary stinky, I exhaust the drying tote into my tent so odor is handled by the carbon filter. Simple process.

Thanks. I thought about trying the totes but thought it may affect the taste of the weed being in that plastic tub. You have not had any problems with that? Where do you put the paper bags? In the tent or in the tote?

I use the totes for controlling airflow during all phases of drying whether on stems or in bags. Actually, I'm a slow trimmer and it takes a coupla of days to dress my nugs to my liking for the paper bag drying which continues in a prepped tote.
Don't know anything about any kind of plastic affecting weed drying. May be a bit of overthinking. But, if your hair if falling out from all the plastic stuff around you every day, there may be a point. Personally, I burn any hint of plastic contamination of my weed and it is good. LOL

started using brown bags late 60's. for 50 years, nothing but brown bags. I have modified to hanging whole plant for about 5 days. then in to jars.
usually after 24 hours in jars I take them out and in to brown bags. for a day or two.
