Terple,
High y'all!

I'm just wondering if anybody has experience with a seedbank called i49.ca aka weed-seeds.ca? They have the best prices on auto seeds that I've seen anywhere. Are they worth going to? I would love to hear from someone who has experience growing their autoflower genetics.

Thanks

High Trichome,

I called them and talked on the phone with one of the representatives. She told me that they breed all of their own seeds and that their white label from British Columbia. The main thing that caught my eye is that I usually pay a minimum of $120 for 10 seeds and on their website for the same price I can get 20 seeds. Also they give the option to buy in bulk which I really like. If you were to buy a hundred seeds of one strain then you're only paying about $400 or $4 Canadian a seed or for $500 you can get a variety pack of 4 strains ( 25 seeds of each strain) or $5 CDN a seed . Which is way better then what I'm paying now at around $11-20 a seed, ( depending on the breeder.)

Anyways before I commit to an order it would be nice to see if somebody else has experience growing their genetics. If not I'll still probably take the risk for $120. And I'd be the guinea pig so that other people can see if they are worthwhile or not.

I thought the same thing about i49. They have a great selection compared to a lot of u.s. vendors. (in my opinion) ..Two things that I always found odd is that forum searches bring up no results for i49.. (at least that was the case when I was considering them) ..and also when I click to read reviews of a specific strain no reviews show up even if it says '10 reviews'. Maybe it's due to the ad blocker I use or something.

I'm suspicious.
They have about 80 different auto strains, which seems like too many in such a short time.
My recollection from over 6 months ago is that they handled other breeders' seeds.

Another bank, Pacific Seed Bank seems similar, and they have been upsetting a lot of people with supposed fake strains, which I know come from fake breeders, because their breeders have no google hits.

i49 has some great looking strains, and I hope they're legit.

I have found some people on Reddit who said they've like this genetics. They even post pictures one in particular of gorilla glue 4. Also there's someone on another grow platform that has made 4 grow diaries of photoperiods that he got from them and they look good. I don't know if trustpilot is trustworthy but there's a couple thousand reviews of them and about 90% of them are good reviews. Is trustpilot trustworthy? LOL

well it seems most euro seed shops beg for trustpilot reviews, maybe not trustworthy, but definitely popular as a gauge for customer support

I just asked Google if trust pilot is trustworthy and supposedly it's very easy for companies to make fake reviews.

yeah, i figure use 80% as the low.. as in tare at 80% - so 90 would be pretty crappy
