Im trying to understand more on why people harvest green plants..but im also wondering on hsrvesting plants thats yellowing but buds are green. The plant sucks nutrients up into roots into leaves thats used into the buds. if thats the case wouldnt your buds have the most amount of concentrated nutrients at harvest? Especially grow ops that dont give plain water for a couple weeks. Jw are people smoking chemicals or not. Been wondering this answer or someone to clear this up for me. Figured ill tag @Arthur @archie gemmill @bhaskara_phoenix

Some believe in pushing to the end, others feel flushing has a place. Until someone does side by sides and then has it lab tested...not all plants will turn fall colors either. That is a lifecycle thing. Starving and running them out aren't the same thing.
Others cut early for the up feel in the high. Many reasons kinda one of those things you'll have to work out for yourself.

Personally I flush, but not looking for a fade, but I swear I can taste the difference in MY weed. I doubt very seriously that I could tell on a different grow.

i do love a good theory to ponder over :smoker::coffee: early cut for a nice racey head high....i hate the body/indica zzz stone.
they say not to flush coco...must have cal/mag and minimum feed of 200 ppm or something like that, dwc, flush n drain, ebb n flow.how do ya flush an outdoor plant ? how can a plant get rid of these chemicals ? exfoliate :crying: does a home grower using say biobizz soil and nutes need to flush the same as a comercila grower using chemical nutes and 14 additives, preventative bug sprays etc ?
white ash black ash...im not convinced of that arguement, ever so slightly above 62% and uncured or cured for just a week/fresh tasting i think can give black ash and 3 weeks later white ash.
i have poor smell and taste...i dont flush maybe thats why...what is a flush...3 times pot volume ?(hmm thats a bath tub job) i think nutes take 4-7 days to break down from nutrients into proper plant food,so feel its a waste to feed the last week.
a more medical grower, growing for lots of amber should have a lot brown/orange a plant compared to my mostly green with a bit of yellow down the bottom :smokeit:
some folk stab the trunk, some pour boiling/iced water,48 hr darkness......................no right no wrong,if it aint broke dont fix it,experiment :coffee:
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:

I would say there will be chemicals regardless of flush when using chemical nutes but am no chemist, just the fact of putting so much into a biologically living thing kinda like a human getting vaccinated. I would flush a good 2 weeks just to be safe but all personal preference I view the colors as a more ripeness/end of life cycle thing on a lot of strains like how a tree changes color in fall.

just want to keep it safe as possible. Seems wont be long that weed will actually kill people. The government is involved after all. I need to just get away from all chemicals. Close but not completely there lol. I just like to know cuz i spread rhe word ro friends. And i always tell them i care to much to not at least warn you. Just like these cartrisges. All these cartridges have lead in them.. geez. Imagine what that does to a college student or even worse someone younger with an underdevolped nervous system.

I dont think it matters chem nutes vs organic. Plant takes up the same compounds either way. I dont believe flushing makes any difference. I stop feeding as i dont want to waste money the last week or two but my plants stay pretty darn green to the end. Buds stay greener either way usually. I think flushing does more harm then good sometimes. Stressing the plant waterlogging it no oxygen.
I believe its all in the cure\dry that makes the icing. I grew up on a tobacco farm. Seeing dark green leaves go into curing turn bright yellow in a few days under proper conditions.

Below is a link that may help you with gardening myths based on scientific findings. Read organic myths in terms of gaining/obtaining knowledge on the term "chemicals". And hope the other articles may help you. It is my belief the term has been propagandized by companies to strike fear in you, so they may sell their organic/natural products. Everything in this world is made of chemicals, including you and me.

You be the judge.

I don't flush like that lol what I mean by flush is just ph'd water to flush nutes out the last 2 weeks or so. There is definately a difference in man made vs organic but hey if the big brands sell you with there fancy names go for it, I'm more of a farmers market vs chemical guy.

I think that is more the synthetic companies striking the fear that you need dumb mass produced products to grow good weed or we wouldn't be discussing this even, hell somebody I know told me you will only grow brown weed without synthetic nutes lmfao its all brainwashing for big companies and I am a plain shirt kinda guy.
