Hey Piggy!

You don't go wrong with Hanna. Legit products!

Hey guys, recent ph lockout when I thought everything was in line has brought to my attention the need for a quality PH meter. I was stupidly half assing it with one of those cheapo soil ph meters and my plants told me it's off, way off. Like, having issues with MI5 off and that's a forgiving plant. Anyway, I've been checking out this Hanna Checker 1, seems legit. I was wondering if any of you have used one of these little babies before, thoughts?

i use biobizz allmix. it holds ph stable nice, but i bought this meter, so i can check my soil more often and easily... i tested all mix and i got the results i told.5-6 cm under the surface the ph is 6,5-70.almost perfect. but 5 cm deeper it's changing to 6 and goes like this... but i never let it for 10 minutes. i left it 3-4 minutes max. i'll try at the next watering leave it more time inside the pot...

Iv used the same soil and it does hold its ph really well.if your adding ph'd (6.3 ish ) water when you feed the soil will hold stable, that's the experience iv had with biobizz allmix..

yes. but i don;t think i will use it all the time.it;s kind of expensive in my country at least.. so i'm going to try to make my own mix for the first time..so i'm going to test it one more time and leave it 10 minutes in the soil to se the result. you think it has to be the same measurement in the entire pot. right? doesn't matter how deep the probe is.

Yeah it shouldn't really matter were in the pot you put it mate but personally i go as close to the edge and away from any roots.I only check it maybe twice through an entire grow though and it's usually in the early stages.once they get big with good roots that fill the pot I don't bother, just keep the water going in ph'd and yr golden mate :smokebuds:

i really don't have any ph problems in my current grow.i just want to measure it any time i want and easily.anyway. so i guess my phmeter has problems or it isn't accurate.. i'll try to learn more from the ebay buyer i bought it. tnx for the answers.
