So, long story short, I had a male auto develops some time ago. I pull and threw out when I caught it. Was early on, no blooms.. I finished growing some Tyrone and pulled in a nice harvest!!. Went to pull some dried Tyrone buds apart and was loaded with beans:crying: Do you think the 1 male I pulled screwed it all up?.. I had a few photo girls left in the hut and had a close look at them. Nice bud production but showing signs of large beans also. Those were holy grail kush. .. pretty sure I have hermies here?. The hut is dialed in, 50% rh, 75 degrees, good nutes and adjusted water. Good vent, air flow..

Pretty sure I'm going to chop everything down and plan a different grow.

Question is, if I had pollen in my hut what is the best was to make sure it's all out so this dose not happen again?..

Any input would be great!!!..

The male ya pulled out could've easily had enough open pods to pollinate the ladies, it's nature just being natural lol. I wouldn't chop everything down and start over if you're already flowering. You'll just have a round of seeded bud, better than none haha. After this round, any residual pollen on walls or bars or whatever should be effectively neutralized by then.

But to be safe, after harvest you can wipe everything down with water with a dash of bleach. Like 1 gallon (or 3 liters) of water and just a tablespoon of bleach. :) Just water would neutralize the pollen but might as well disinfect while you're wiping. :)

Sorry for the late replies but since AFN went down, I was unable to respond. Everything is chopped down and the room is clean as it will ever be. All new filters, wiped down walls, what not.

I might of stressed out a few photo holy grail and went to males. I believe they may have been the culprit. Again, all gone and will be doing a huge hash bash soon from all the cuttings!!. Joy, joy, joy...

Good deal. Hash.

I too will be hashing many plants and/or budded branches due to similar situation. Sneaky--cannabis and its desire to leave behind its lineage--one way or another.

Dry ice extraction would be a breeze. No more washing for me.

Good luck.

Cheers
