Hello guys. I’m so close to finishing my first grow. But run into some leaves problems . I didn’t change nothing , no light distance no nutrietiens nothing . All was good. Now the middle and bottom leaves are green and nice . Leaves around buds ( closer to light ) was yellow already before ( I was told maybe buds need more nuts ) but today I saw the top leaves are curly and very dry. Like dead already.
thanks for responding:))
Feeding them 1000-1100 ppm. Every day. 6-6.2 ph.

Those ppm numbers sounds pretty high. Auto or photo? What ppm scale are you on? What medium are you using?

Typical ppm numbers for auto, on the 500 scale, 500-600 seems like the max most people run. Also many people such as myself do a feed, water, water schedule when using soil.

Coco gets fed every watering so I am think you are using coco?

A little more info will help the experts figure it out.

If you fill this out it will speed the process up a bit. This would probably be better in the infirmary thread.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate:
night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics!

I agree, 1k PPM is problematic. Have you tested the PPM of your runoff? If it's higher than 1k, the plant is overfertilized.

I also see signs of heat stress/damage.

Yes it’s coco. In this forum ppl said to use 1k ppm for flowering . ( yes I grow autos )

Plant that suffers the most has run off of 960 ppm

Here is a conversion chart.

This should help you figure out what scale you are on. Hopefully truncheon. I think if your in US its Hanna, Europe truncheon. Ec universal. Look up the manufacturer manual or it may tell you on start up?

1.0-1.3 EC is about the high-end for a healthy indoor-grown cannabis plant under artificial lighting. Above that and you've really got to have your sh!t 100% together in terms of your 9 variables:

Light Intensity and spectrum
Relative Humidity
Air Temp
Wind/Air movement
CO2
Water in the root zone
O2 in the root zone
Temp in the root zone
Nutrients in the root zone

Wait...... Im supposed to keep track of ppm for soil grows?

It is helpful to know how strong your feed is. Otherwise you really don't know how much you are giving them. This applies when you are using salt based nutes as opposed to all organic. I'm using 2 part mega crop in soil so I measure my ppms.

If you are going all organic, you don't really have anything to measure ppm wise.

Hope I explained that so it makes sense. :baked: Kinda stoned right now..
