Really love ❤️ my edibles!
I am growing my plants for edibles only. Can't smoke anymore, after 60+ it's too hard on the lungs.
My questions are for harvesting at the moment.....

if I'm going to be going through the Decarboxylation process,
does it mean I should be using different guidelines for harvesting? Earlier, later, does it destroy the
Trichomes? Is there already a thread out there for this?

Just wondering if there is a complete growing process, (special neuts. LST, harvesting, etc) specially for
"Edible Grows" ??
Thanks for all the info, and this forum, it has helped me tremendously! I'm amazed what some of you
fellas are doing, keep up the great work!

hey there Zweibeir - seen you lurking and your posts recently, doing a great job!
For edibles there are options - ultimately the way you grow, dry and cure will not change - it is really how you go about making the edibles.
The easiest and one of the most documented way is to get it all in to butter or oil (such as coconut oil) and then make what you need from there such as cakes or whatever. Alternatively, you can make oil first using alcohol extraction and use the oil from that as the base for edibles such as gummies, or you can just use the oil as a tincture which works very well also.

Good luck with teh rest of your grow and enjoy the fruits

My wife and I love our edibles as well. We still smoke too but would be lost without our gummies and tinctures. I use coconut oil and MCT oil for infusions. For me, I've learned that, specifically for edibles, genetics come first but yield is a close, CLOSE second. Im currently growing some XXL plants for my future edibles. Good luck with your grows. Cheers.

I usually get my seeds at @MultiVerseBeans. But they are based out of US.

They have tons of different breeders. Dutch Passion has some solid large yielding plants:

Seed Stockers also has XL varieties too. I'm growing their Northern lights right now. 420 Fast Buds also has a good variety.

Bonus: they just released "Mutant Genetics - Pound Dawg" which got its name from it's yield.

Or you could just grow photoperiods and veg them for a long time.

MultiVerseBeans has been my go-to for seeds for about a year now. Im always satisfied with my orders. Hope this helps.
