Hello,

I’ve seen some lighting list recommended grow space sizes. E.g. the GN Telos 0006 I saw recommended up to 0.75 x 0.75.

Is this only important if I’m planning to fill the whole grow space?

Using the above light as an example. If I put it in a 1.2 x 1.2 space will it work and give good light to the plants, as long as I’m only putting the right amount of plants under it. Or is it too small and wouldn’t fill the space with light and I‘d lose out due to poor reflection?

I’m looking to get a larger space to fit the fan and filter I’d like. I don’t want to over spec and get big lights of I don’t need them for the space. Only looking to start with three plants in a 1.2 x 1.2 space.

Cheers.

You need roughly 480w for that space. What is your budget?

Thanks for the reply.
My budget for lighting is max £300.

Not really much quality wise for LEDs at that price point.

With today's best LEDs you only need 25-30 watts per sq ft used.
Decide what approximate area the plants will take up out of your 16 sq ft, then get about 30 watts times that area.
My autos do best when given at least 4 sq ft each, and for 3 plants taking up 4 sq ft each (using 12 out of 16 sq ft), 3 of these would work.

For your space id go cob they are the future.and grow great plants.id recomend migro 200.alittle over ur budget.but no built in fans cheaper to run.shop around.ur budget is very fair ,for your grow space .u will get good lights;) here a link
