Hi all,i would like to know what you use for heating in your grow tents,

I use Oil filled heaters. Since switching from hps to LED.

I too make use of a radiator heater. Not inside the tent.

This winter, I tried something a little different because I wasn't sure what to use as a barrier between my pots and the basement floor (cold concrete), so I had already purchased heat mats for germination for when I do my veggies in the early Spring, and I put a couple of those on the bottom of the grow tent and box and it seemed to help keep the temps up when the lights were off. I had them on a timer, opposite the lights so that it would stay relatively close in temps.. They are low-draw so they don't use a lot of wattage and they aren't expensive at all, maybe $10/piece and they come in different sizes..

reptile cage heating pads.

its the roots that need to be a set temp to thrive for nutes. and in cool temps, colors of the leaves in some strains explode, so I can keep overall air cool, and roots, pots warmer.

2 foot tube heaters, bricks and a plastic tray. I also believe keeping them warm from below is a good thing.

For my 3x3 ... I use a heat pad designed for pain therapy ... It has adjustable control and measures around 16" x 30". I only use during lights out when temps may drop. Girls seem snug as a bug !

I just place pots ( with plastic pan ) on pad and that's it.
It works with my propagation dome too.... I just place it on it and it keeps interior of dome humid.
