Hi guys,

I would like to only grow one plant in a pot, which is why I want to do it in as simple and cost-efficient way as possible (no grow tents and expensive LED pannels).
My plant will be in a part of the room, which does not receive alot of natural sunlight, but is next to my reptile terrariums, which all have 90 cm long full spectrum 50 watt LED lights, which illuminate that part of the room quite well. However, since this light will be coming from one side, I know I need to have an additional light from above, to prevent the plant from growing to the side. I found some suggestions that normal 150 watt LED light bulb might suffice until flowering. I also saw sugegstions to use Sensi 35 watt bulbs, but I also read somwhere that they are very inefficient.

I am aware that none of these options are ideal, but what solution might be good enough, yet simple and cheap?

I really appreciate your help!

I did my first couple grows with 100w led boards, and it handled flower stage quite well. Now days I think the smallest is the 150w version.
It will take your plant from start to finish. Mars Hydro or a Spider farmer 150w board, or any brand equivalent will do the job.
My plants did so well with my 100w boards I have been considering using them again.

id go with something like this
https://migrolight.com/collections/led-grow-lights/products/migro-aray-2-120w-red-pro-ii

but if your really on a budget maybe something like this but the led will be much better quality wise and will pay back the investment you make

Used market place is where I would look. Tons of growers have old lights just sitting in a corners. You might be able to pick up an old 100w blurple marshydro or viperspectra for l0-15 bucks. Check out some HPS, see what kind of prices you could get on those. Last time I was in a grow shop I mentioned my led's weren't keeping my room warm enough. The shop keeper immediately started begging me to take his old lights for what ever I would give him, "offer me anything". Just keep in mind going this route means your likely going to have to buy twice. Once for your first grow, than again after you realize you're actually leaving money on the table by not investing into quality lights.

Mars hydro TS 600, inexpensive LED grow light, pulls around 105w from the wall, sounds ideal for your set-up.
