We have officially removed the "Groups" add-on that we tried out for our breeder and @Vendors forums due a staggering amount of constant feedback about wanting it removed. Apparently there was a rather nagging feature that we didn't realize/identify while testing it out on our High of the Tiger forum; but the vendor forums required members to join them to view/post threads within, greatly limiting the visibility and functionality of said forums. I reached out to the developer of the add-on about this feature and unfortunately it's both not an option we can disable, but also not an option they are willing to entertain to add into future updates to be able to disable.
Our motto towards new things on AFN has always been "we'll try it out and if it sucks, we'll go back to what we know worked." Well, we tried it out. It turns out that it's not what our community wants to work with, and as promised, we've listened and removed it as a feature. Apologies to those that it annoyed, but cheers to at least giving it a shot
