Hello all, I am new here ( Duh.. lol) I have been a member on other related boards for years, but I am stepping over to the dark side of Autos! So now its time for me to make myself known here

Little about my self..

I am 27, I live in Florida, its in a country ran by a Socialist regime ( USA ). I am a college graduate ( IT/Business Management). I have been a caregiver in a state that does not have MMJ for 3 years, I have 2 patients I tend to, 1 family member, and a close friend of mines mother. I have had much interest since 2009 in Autoflowering strains but never ventured to what most growers call the dark side..

Right now I have my first AF grow in progress. I will be migrating my grow log from another board to here tomorrow

Current grow: 4 x Sagarmatha's Double Diesel Ryder
1 x DNA's Sour Cream
( Non AF, was a freebie from attitude. Giving it to a buddy once I have no more room and need the space for the autos)

Straight planted in OF, no amendments, Fed just plain water for now.
They are still seedlings, all of them. Day 10 above soil. Like I said, grow log migration tomorrow! Keep your eyes peeled

Oh and if your wondering what the whole socialist America statements are about.. Take one look at were my country is heading and the laws that have been passed in the last 10 years starting with Bush and now Buck Ofama. I completely disagree, and now the SOPA/IP Protect act?

Guys, here soon us Americans may not be able to have the freedom to even surf a website like this. Agree with it or not, care or dont care. Its the sad truth.. Just sayin...

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of autos. Sagarmatha had some issues in the past with some of their strains not auto flowering. Hope they have gotten that resolved. Also, keep a close eye on your seedlings. Straight OF has been known to be a little strong for some auto strains and burned some seedlings. Most who are using it are mixing it 50/50 with Happy Frog or Light Warrior.

Thanks for the tip Muddy, It hasn't burned them and i just transplanted them from jify cups to there final pots indoor pots, they are building roots slowly but surely ( a bit slower than an auto should from what I've read, but that could be the OF doing that. )

I know i should have done this from the start but, at week 3, or right before flowering they are going outside, in 5 gallon buckets with a 60/20/20 mix of OF,perlite,verm.

The only reason I have no done this is I cannot find regular perlite anywhere! I have tried all over and the only thing anyone stocks is the Miracle Gro Perlite (w/ ferts)

Now I had this problem a few years back when i was into mycology, I had to get that for my fruiting chamber, spent 3 days soaking, leeching, soaking, leeching before it was clean of all ferts. I really didn't want to go threw that lol.

I have the same problem. I live in a rural area and only have Lowes and Home Depot close by and all they carry is the MG perlite. About twice a year I've got to drive about 40 miles to the big city to stock up. Fortunately there is a green house supply company there and I'm able to get Pro Mix, perlite and just about anything else I need. Any green houses or nurseries near you? They might have some perlite.
