Hello fellow auto growers,

This is my first attempt at growing an auto, I have around two weeks left to hit my 70 day mark. Just curious how everyone thinks she looks? Also with autos do the tri's get amber color or am I just looking for milk white cloudy tri's? Thanks in advance for the help.

This site is amazing for first time auto growers, never would have made it this far without this site.

Hey smokey welcome to afn bro! Can you give some more background info around lights, soil, and what nutes you are using? I see what look like Cal/mag spots but I need some more info to be sure.

I have 2 150 2700k cfl's and 1 100 6500k cfl. Soil was a house blend from local nursery and nute is John's Lady Bug Brand John's Recipe 3-1.5-2. Those spots came up within the last couple of days on the lower leaves when I watered.

Ok I forgot to ask about ph. What is your ph of water going in and what's the runoff?

Ok ph is a little low but not to bad. Do you have any Cal/mag supplement you could give your plant? If not you could foliar feed 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt per gallon of water as an alternative to supplement. Also is there any dolomite lime in your soil?

It does have lime, I will try the Epsom salt for the cal/mag. Thanks for the help. This auto is such a baby to handle, not like growing in the past. Do you think I should keep letting it go past the 70 day mark or just harvest then? March 23 is the 70 day, I thought the the pods would be a bit larger by now. I wanted to start the flush on the next watering which is Friday. Think I might hold off another week.

Its far from ready smokey! Rule of thumb with autos is let them go till all the fan leaves have turned yellow and fall off. Autos definitely aren't the same as photos bro. I have done both and it has taken we a while to adjust to autos but there is no going back. I would say another 2 weeks and we can check her again. Most of the budswell occurs in the last two weeks for autos smokey. I will keep an eye if you need any more help and green karma sent your way brother!

she looks good mate, though id try them in 2 gallon pots as she will grow much larger with the root space(example, easy ryder in 6.5 litre 1.5 oz, same in 11 litre, same time, same light 2.2 oz, and thats using tap water, no ph meter, cheap but good soil and tomato feed, its taken a while to get to this, but my plants tell me if they need more/less feed, water sits for 48 hrs to let chlorine run off, ph a little high at 6.9-7 but it gives me plants, i forget all these tools that are expense, keep an eye on your girls and they will tell you what they need with growth/leaf colour etc! im not saying dont use them, if u can afford it do, but i grow 4x 50 autos a season in uk, and in 5 yrs have never used a meter, i used a tank and drippers with pebbles once but yields were same, so i went back to cheap option, whatever ive used, from 50 quid a bottle bloom to the current 2 quid a bottle tomato feed its made little difference, i just up the feed as its only pkn 4-4-4
