https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grafting. There is the definition of it. In redneck terms it the act of making two plants into one by splicing the together. **I do not think this will increase the yield or enhance the plant in any way.**

I have been fascinated by this for years. When I was a kid we would travel to the black forest and go to shops and tours that had these old twisted, narled up trees bent and twisted together. They had been spliced 70+ years ago and worked to look this way.

This is commonly done with grape vines to help the growers insure the grapes have common sugar levels. Its how they are able to give such a consistent product. Shhhh I don't think they let that one out to often.

After snapping two plants during a lst and seeing how fast they healed and recovered I think a auto would be perfect for this.

I'm going to give this a try starting over the next few weeks. The plan is to lst the plants until the main stems are making contact to my pleasing....or till they just look rite ya know:thumbs: Then splicing them together, brace, bind and wrap. Will post my progress and results in this thread.

I will be starting with 4 Albino Dragons that are currently planted in the same pot. The tools I will be using we be ties, braces(chopsticks) scalpel, superthrive(for shock) and possibly great white micro.

Again I don't think this will benefit the plant in the slightest. I'm doing this for my own personal enjoyment. Not to increase yield or anything remotely like that.

If you have done this please post your results here. As usual comments and question are welcome. Please enjoy and wish me luck. :peace:

I can't wait to see the end results

Ty Krug88 its nice to be back. I just wanted to ask Romeo if I need to get some hello kitty bandaids for the graphing to hold the plant in place. Black tape is just not my style lol. I was shocked to see our other two plants basically heal n mend its self. Plus we did get the most yield off the plant. S.a.d. is one of ours that mended itself. I'm not saying graphing caused it to yeild more but it was just an observation. I love bonsai plants n I think this will look super sweet. Hopefully Romeo n I will have the patience to do this.

Please send us all the good green karma you can. We are gonna need it.

It wasn't hello kitty ones we used it was "cars" bandaids.

Yes Yes Yes... I really want to see this...More power to you romeo :slap:

we tried something similar to your experimental grafting....plant #1 was a photoperiod Mango Haze, and the plant #2 was a Black Dragon....both were grown for 13 days under 24/0 of t5ho,.I attempted a standing graft by scraping both outer layers of dermis from both branches, then joined them with a thick pipe cleaner...and covered the whole thing in beeswax...
I was attempting to induce flowering in the photo under 24 hours of light,by exchanging hormones with the autoflowering plant...
the graft held but, both plants were male, and the auto showed sex more than 2 weeks before the photo had preflowerd...
good luck with your grafting experiments....I wish you success

The graft did hold hereb4? That's wonderful news. I like the theory of your try however. I read where a photo grower grafted a indica to a sativa for attempt to take advantage of the larger root system but he abandon the journal for whatever reasons. I should do it like you did with the standing graf but I want to try a certain shape. Lol.

I can't get ahead of myself however. I'm going to wait until after the Dragons show sex. I know absolutely nothing about the albinos at all and could even use some advice there. I'm sure alot of ppeople see this as a waste but I figure I average a Oz a pot.....I don't care how many are growing in the pot if a can average similar results I'll be happy. Yea a Oz a pot and get to have the fun of growing them like this. :booya: win win.
