Found some seeds in ghost train haze, thought I give this a try. Because I don't see any topics on this strain, I thought I share some details on this.
Strain: ghost train Haze - photo
Growing in a 2*2 tent, with 600w equivalent LED.
To start out I used standard potting soil and perlite (~30% perlite) we had laying around. Want to make the most of this without going overboard. I already realize this was a mistake and the soil is too hot and not good. Changed it out already.
Had my seedling in a tiny starter cup and now put it in 3 gal pot. poked his head out around Dec 4. Doing 20/4 light schedule. Started watering with aquarium water.
Originally my soil came from home Depot . I think both are miracle grow . (I know it's garbage)
Now changed things over to foxfarm ocean forest.
By the way, the Aquarium an approx pH of 7.2.
The seeds took long to geminate and grow. First one took 4 days to show is tap root, second one took two weeks. The second one still has not developed well yet, not much vertical growth or really any leaves, finally now I can see since progress though.
My first plant however kicked into gear and after not much progress it now shows steady progress and could it be that I can smell her already?

a few things well worth a read.
this bring my first grow I hope I don't hit any ugly surprises. Any advice ? I want to keep it simple but want it to succeed. Plan on doing se LST in the next few days. Should I really worry about nutrients?
