Hi

I was trying to germinate some seeds, I just notice the heat mat was f'd up and was heating the propagator tray up too 98dg.F there was air getting pumped it but not enough too keep it cool at room temp above the water line.

I soaked and planted them on the 6th and one just popped up today. did the heat kill them?

The heat could have killed them. How long did you soak them, did they sink? What soil and how deep are they?Did you use paper towls to germ them until you see a tap root?Did you put them under lights and keep them warm and moist.

soaked overnight, 90% sank. seeds then placed in rockwool then into a domed propagation tray with 2" of water and an airstone. did not see a tap route, minimal lighting. well so far 1 is up maybe a few more will too but 9 days tp pop up is a long time.

Does that rock wool stay soaked in that water or is it just damp? If that rockwool is soking wet the seed will drowned. If they dont come up I think there gone.Next time use the paper towl method if you know what imtalking about.

well still no heads poping up, but I read some can take up to 3 weeks to sprout so I have hope I did'nt cook them.

I have never heard of any seeds taking three weeks, thats hard to beleve, but wait and see or if you got anymore seeds I would start a new batch.
