I am trying to germinate at the moment 3 Seedsman EASYRYDER. After 48 hrs soaking and now 4 days in kitchen paper only 1 has an emerged tap root ( about 5mm ) the other 2 have now popped and I can just see the start of the tap root. The temp is 24 C. I used dionised water by mistake, will this affect germination? When should I attempt to plant these seeds in the compost, with what should I water the seedlings? I now have distilled water and I have collected some fresh spring water from the local spring which everyone in my area uses as drinking water. I have another 3 EASYRYDER seeds on the way should I do anything different to germinate?

I use tap water and always have 100% germination rate. Patience, some seeds need more time, some 2-3 days, some 7 days.

One aspect you must follow when using the paper towel method.....don't constantly flood the paper towel. Keep it moist so the tap root will keep reaching for the water so to speak.

I like to soak 24 hours in tap water, I put a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in the water, then after 24 hours pit into a wet paper towel, into an OPEN baggie, and sandwich that into a dish towel, then I place the towel on top of my wifi router, usually have a tap within 8 hours
