I was gifted a new bottle of this. Never used it I always would mix creek water with well water to get my pH up my question is will this be harmful to the microbes and worms in my soil. Says it's potassium carbonate. Did a test and it took 10 mil to take a gallon of water from 5.5 to 6.5.

@Going2fast In water the Potassium Carbonate will convert to Carbonate and Potassium. The Carbonate makes the water more alkaline thus raising the PH. The Potassium (a metal) is plant food, The K in N-P-K. 10 ml in a gallon won't make a huge difference in the K and you can measure this yourself. Take a gallon of your water and measure the PPM. Then add the 10ml PH-up, mix well and read again. Subtract the water reading from the mix reading and the difference is the EC change caused by the PH-up. Remember we are now working in EC and not PPM/liter. About 40% of that EC change is Potassium and the rest is carbonate. Plants do take up carbonates. Calcium Carbonate is in most salt fertilizers.

You have nothing to worry about.

Manogreen thank you for answering my question. That was very informative. I've never used these products and my well water runs around 5.5. humping buckets uphill can get old in the dead of winter.

Ladies shot for your time.
