Gem what are they?

What makes a gem? Im asking so I can I identify one when it appears in my garden. Is it true that My gem may be someone else’s lump of coal. With 8 yrs under my belt, I’m not a complete noob. But I’m far from the skill that I see many have on afn. So here is my question. So what about a particular pheno would classify it as a gem?

1. Smell
2. Taste
3. Yield
4. Bud structure
5. Cannabinoid count
6. High (type) (feel) (longevity)

I feel if I buy a breeder’s seeds, I’m buying gem genetics. With that said, i should already have a gem and not have to go out looking for them Gem x gem = gems. If not then what are we buying?

The gem is finding the breeders the have the highest percentage of gems per pack. These are living things and nature has its ways so not every seed will turn into a gem. That being said solid skills environment and genetics u should wind up with like 80-90% solid plants. Mephisto has been very stable for me as well as Healing Path genetics and synergy automatics genetics all on here.
