Garage attic vs tent/dryer?

Those are the only 2 options as far as being in the dark at my house. Am I correct in assuming that as long as I have proper temp/rh and if smell doesnt matter that I can dry “anywhere”? Ill be reading the “how to” posts and will learn about different gimmicks people use successfully but I was just wondering what area I should be prepping for my first harvest? They’re only 40 days old but I wanna be prepared. Thanks!

Planning ahead is always a good thing. IMPE attics are very dry and buds there would dry too fast. 68°F 55% RH and dark with gentle fresh air movement is ideal. Mine just get hung in the lung room for 4 or 5 days then into brown paper bags for a day or two until the stem inside a big bud tests 11% - 12% moisture on a wood moisture meter or some sample buds placed in a jar with a hygrometer reads 62% RH. Then they go into Grove bags for the cure.

Than you, I’ll order the meter today and perhaps some mini micrometer since they come in a 12 pack. May I ask what specific grove bags you use and do you keep the bud in them as long term storage also?

I have used the 1/8 oz to the 1/2 pounders, mostly the 1/4 pound and 1 oz. bags. I have bud as old as 19 months in the grove bags and it is still as good as the day I sealed the bag.
