STRAIN:
Auto AK (could not find genetics info on G13 Labs website. I read some speculative posts that it's AK-47 crossed with something, but that's pretty open ended.)

Did It Autoflower?
Yes, preflowers around day 20 or so and continued to autoflower under 18/6 light conditions.

GROWING MEDIUM:
Grown in Pro-MX BX with blood meal, bone meal, and perlite.

NUTES:
General Hydroponics General Organics GO Box. Started off with 1/4 and 1/2 strength doses and increased. Ran a full 10 mL on all nutes towards the middle/end of flowering and ran into some nute burn on some plants while most showed favorable gains. Had one plant crisp up a little from burn but all were fine and now have a good idea of nute threshold for this particular strain.

LIGHTS:
I started the seedlings out under two 125 true watt CFL lights in a small mylar box. Transplanted and grown under 1000W MH/HPS switchable under a 18/6 light cycle

HARVEST TIME:
Harvested 79 days from seed.

DRY YIELD:
I grew 5 plants in different sized containers, mostly 2 gallon containers and 17 gallon tubs shared with 6 other plants. My average yield was around 16.5 grams per plant, with 7.2 grams on the low side and 29.3 grams on the high side. I could have had much better yields had I more intensively cared for the plants and gave them proper pots, etc.

GROWTH: *****
I grew some of these in 2 gallon pots and some in 17 gallon tubs (like you find at Wal-Mart) shared with several other plants (ran into root contention.) These were VERY easy plants to grow however. I think I had the least amount of trouble with these out of all the plants, minus my own nutrient burning mission (to test the limits of my nutes.)

These grew a lot like pine trees in the branching and the buds got very thick and dense on some of the plants.

Out of the 5 plants, I had one plant that was just the alpha and omega of the crop. It had the biggest, most DENSE nugs I have ever personally grown and they buds were incredibly sticky and resinous. I couldn't help but pinch a lower bud every trip to the tent just to stop and smell my hands

BAG APPEAL: ****
I would be more than happy to get a bag of this herb. I tend to leave some of the longer sugar leaves on my herb, so they sometimes get a little shaggy (doesn't bother me a bit, but I don't sell or get rid of my herb so I'm the only one I have to please :D) but they could be trimmed up to look like some wicked buds.

THE SMELL (after 4 week cure): *****
Pop the jar and you get a very dark, deep heavy fruity smell. It's not that bright fruit smell like a berry, but something dark and rotten, like something sickly sweet.

THE SMOKE (after 4 week cure): ****
Has a very pleasant dark fruit taste when you exhale. This is a very stony weed; two big bowls and I might be looking for a nap. This is the kind of herb that leaves an aftertaste in your mouth that, 30 minutes afterwards, you still find yourself going "mmmm tasty!" I really enjoy this smoke; it's one of my main smokes out of my multiple strain stash.

MEDICINAL BENEFITS: ?????
This isn't the most medicating herb I've ever smoked. It seems to be fairly sedative; but it doesn't have that powerful wave inducing stone power or the complete "where is my mind" effect by any means. I regularly smoke a bowl of this before bed every night and if I'm lucky I made it to the bed; if not, it's the life of the couch for me and the dog :toke:
