RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good


Bag Appeal: ****
Very nice bag appeal of rock hard frosty nugs. Trichs are small head trichs so it isnt as frosty as some other strains but makes up for it in strength of psychoactive effects.

THE GROWth: ****
The strain seemed very nutrient picky and I would not recommend for novices of auto strains. The structure of the plant was very tall and lanky and likes to stretch quickly if not kept in check. Also do not exceed 1/2 strength nutes or she will burn easily.

THE SMELL: *****
The smell during growth is of heavy mango/skunk influences. You will find yourself touching her frequently to smell her sweet goodness. After a 30 day cure she still has a musky fruity scent with a slight honeysuckle sweetness.

THE SMOKE: ****
The smoke is extremely smooth even after a quick cure and even better after 30 days. She was tested with vape, water pipe, and bowl with water pipe being my favorite for this strain. You can take massive ice bong hits of this strain with no coughing fits at all. The sweet after taste will keep you wanting more and more!

THE HiGH:****
The buzz is very psychoactive and lasts about an hour and a half. However I will warn people that become anxious from trippy sativa's! If kept to several hits you will be ok and the buzz will relax you overtime. However, if smoked in excess it make you very anxious and cause panic attacks to those who are prone. There is a strong feeling of time disorientation if smoked over a long period of time. I would recommend this strain for people with ocd, and adhd as a medicine. One thing to keep in mind with this description is that I took the plant at 100% cloudy and no amber so next one I run I will let go long and I will ammend the report as needed.

nice, i kinda wanted to grow this but im into the more high yielding strains, none the less this is a pretty good size harvest from what ive seen other people pull off, nice nugs too

I will be sure to update this one as well Alan. The one thing I want to make clear is that I took my pineapple at the earliest I would recommend for this strain. It was also in a less than a gallon pot so in my opinion this strain in a larger pot would easily produce 2-3 ounces if grown well. My next run of this strain will be in 3.4 gallon airpots and I will let it go more amber this time.

+rep for a nice review, Dub! I recently reviewed the Barney's Farm Pineapple Express and found it to be very similar to your G13. The effects make me a little too anxious but I'm hoping it will mellow out with age. I also wouldn't recommend this one to beginners as it needed much more attention than the other strains I grew at the same time.

Thanks for the +Rep Andy! I was very interested to find out the genetics of these two strains with the same name. So the g13 is ruderalis x trainwreck and the barney's is way more complex with ruderalis x pineapple chunk x exodus cheese. I have several of the g13 pineapple left and will let this next one go longer to see if it gets rid of the anxious part because I suffer from panic attacks and this buzz is no good if you go too far!

Hey dubv nice report! I got 4 g13 fem pineapple express's going at 16 days now.I noticed mine seem to smell like stale beer,actually was surprised to see them start to stink this young. Looks like its going to be a potent stench when they start to flower.
