New Grower Fungus gnats?

Sup dude,

I don't think we can see fungus gnat larvae that easily.. more visible are the adults buzzing around the topsoil. Are you sure it's not just a random insect larvae?

I have Gnat larvae problems and can attest to them being very small, hard to see with the naked eye....magnifying glass needed to see them properly :)

Maybe have a search on google images for root bugs and see if you can spot the same one you saw.

As for your beans, you should have viable seed 30 days after pollination...but the longer you leave it the better :)

That vine weevil is one ugly S.O.B.
Found one the other day in some manure that I was spreading in my garden and it was the first time even seeing one. Caught me off guard
 
IME, I've seen gnats when the soil was constantly over moist. Letting my pots dry out more between waterings helped.
