Hi to all,
So as I promised, next photo session was today as well as watering .. So few more pictures. Amber trichs still not there yet (still need like 4-5% more), but Fruit1 will get down this saturday no matter what. 8% or 10 % aint that much of a difference ...
I will update pictures from the harvest and wet weight over the weekend ..
I already harvested one of the smaller lower buds, so last picture is that ..

Hi there, so in the end it is day 73 from the seed till harvest for Fruit1, really nice.

So far it's 141g from Fruit1 wet harvested, 118 from the main harvest today(+I'll add aprox 15 more g from popcorn buds that are still growing)
As for the drying, Im using brown paper bags, classic .. Curing classic burping as well and in the end Ill add some Boveda in ...


In the end I decided to do continual harvest, I took all the "main" buds from Fruit 1 and left like 12g wet on the plant to grew more, trich weren't there on the lower buds (usual stuff) so I'll see if it can grew some more while getting ripe and of course then Ill update the wet weight as well... At least I'll taste all stages of ripeness. Anyway, trichs on harvested buds were aprox. : Amber 8% Milky 80% Clear 12% which is exactly my preference
Easy to trim, easy to grow although I over fed, under fed, light burned, heat stressed, overwatered ... Basically all that could go wrong went wrong But all of the girls managed to get through my mistakes nicely, although I think that I could get like 15-20% better results because of all the stunned grow... Wet weight (that 141g) is counted with the earlier harvested buds as well, because I always make notes about wet/dry weight so I can count it together properly. Whats on the picture is 118g wet rock solid buds... Also I will of course update Fruit1 situation, when everything is dried and then again after the cure (if the taste will change)... I'll def run that last seed in the next round (which will be proper 1st round, this one was just to find out if it will even work in small flat in the living room ) and then I'll buy some more So in love with that taste, that gfriend even makes fun of me that when I'm smoking it I make "bed sounds"


smoke report after the cure so far Im feeling it like: Absolutely perfect smell and taste. Probably the fruitiest strain I ever tasted, starts a bit flowery/fruity then when I exhale all the smoke all I can sense is blood orange mixed with papaya in my mouth

Hi there,

so final weights for Fruit1 are : 166g wet buds; 41g dry buds .. As it was the smallest of all 4 plants that are in the tent (not counting mutant J47XL) this should indicate that Ill get at least 160 dry buds from everything combined which is really nice outcome for 250w and first try .. Will see how close will it get but goal was at least 70g so tent and everything (seeds,electricity etc.) pays for itself....
And now for the Fruit2, its getting bigger, the buds are more leafy/hazey then F1 and like at least twice the size .. Still looks like at least one more week tho ..
Found a bit of mold inside the biggest bud so II cut it out and will monitor the situation. If it spreads, its getting down tomorrow, otherwise I will see after one more week ..

So because of the bud rot coming back I decided that I'll harvest few days earlier ..

Fruit2 down after 80 days from seed. Complete wet weight (with the bud from yesterday) is 182 g .. which is really nice .. I will see at how much dry will it end and update then .
Two biggest buds were 80g alone... On the picture with hand you can see free space where is the lowest finger , there were buds that got bud rot a bit .. and similar spot was on the second bud as well so the yield could be even little better .. Even on that first picture, you can see that there are spots missing even on the other buds, it was 19g wet cut out total..

Buds are bit more leafy and airy, but smell is pure grapefruit, pure citrus. Gfriend came asking if Im harvesting lemons she doesnt smell any weed at all, just citrus smell Didnt smoke this one yet, so will update after testing that test bud frm yesterday

so Fruit2 is dry and I got some final result numbers Fruit 1 was 41g and Fruit2 finished at 45g = total of 86g which I find really really nice for the half of the tent.

On the picture on the left there is like 28g of Fruit1 that I'll leave alone, now just once a week little quick burp, boveda already in. Rest of it I smoked already and 5g was given to my friend.. More days in the jar, more losing sweetness and more going to bittersweet, will see what it will taste like after month..

On the right there is Fruit2 (yes all 3 because it is much more airy then F1 and takes more space .. ) and that is like 40 because I took 5 today for smoking for this weekend
Also you can already notice, that F1 is already much browner as its curing for like a week now and F2 is still fresh green as its dry since yesterday ..


@Dinafem-Mark Thx Mark, that bud rot sucks hard, but on the other side, first that will be smoked from the tent will be Fruit2, so lovely grapefruit with honey (as this is what it tastes like now).. Little bit leafy and airy, but that goes all to my mistakes, temperatures, stress etc. F1 is much tighter... Anyway, I wont be "archiving" this one, because Im affraid that there is somewhere some rot left, so I rather smoke it first and check everytime before smoking ..

To summarize the grow, I needed to get only 70g from Fruits with J47xl together so like 0,3g/w, wanted 0,5g/w so 125g and so far its 158g combined and that is like 0,6g/w. And there is still the biggest J47xl in the tent left for last two days, so at least 50 more dry .. so whoop.whoop and Im so happy about strains I chose and about the final outcome

Not bad for the first/test round and next time (January2020) Ill try to get that bag appeal and hardness

just a little update on final weights ..
last j47xl is dried... So Fruit+J47xl together = 223 g ... Id say fkn success for test/first grow .. almost 0,9g/w which is excellent But to be honest I left a few stems on few bigger buds, like 3 extra nodes that could be cut in the smaller pieces .. Id say about 15g total .. So that makes the final weight a bit lower : 208 g which is 0,82 g/w .. still pretty impressive in my opinion

So there is still one last thing left for this journal and that is smoke rep + cure photos. So here we go and again @Dinafem-Mark thank to you guys for this lovely genetics

Got two phenos, one quick and more packed, second more airy but much bigger, but could go for another week minimum. (And I think that that airyness its more by my mistakes.. )

Both phenos have one thing in comon and thats not a dry mouth, but the opposite .. that flavors will get your mouth moist as hell (yeah I just wanted to use word moist )

Fruit 1 : when cutting/rolling the smell is citrus/pine with sweet undertones. taste : little bit harsh on the inhale (probably could use like week or two more of curing) with surprisingly no flavor whatsoever, hot air only, exhale is smooth, rich citrus/sweet flavor. Bit grapefruit, bit honey. More relaxed high then after the harvest when it was perfect over the day smoke for me with lovely rush, next time I’d harvest with even less amber .. now its more like “afternoonish” takes good 3 -5 minutes to start and meanwhile your left with lovely bittersweet flavor in mouth, I can still feel the sweet part of it now after 8 minutes from the last hit The high basically creeps up on you, for me it goes through the head and then jumps to the body .. After 10 minutes it gets back to the head and stays there for good 2 hours (e:now 1,5h after and still getting nice head high). Its not like super strong (dinafem says around 10%thc; I’d say like 14) but its not really a thing as I was looking for something really tasty and mainly something that wont destroy me completely and let me “work” with smile on the face, which was delivered... But don’t get me wrong, if I get more then 5 hits, it can still get me pretty high Really enjoyable strain, Ill def add it to my list of favorites.

F2: sweetness heaven. Almost everything that was written for the F1 goes for F2 (yes takes some time before you can feel it, yes jumps from head to body and then back to the head etc.), except the flavors are turned around. So its more honey sweet that bitter, which I really, really like. Strong tropical fruit undertones. I smoked it with one of my colleagues and she said that the flavor palate, that stays in the mouth after exhale, is something she never experienced before and its flavor she def wants to taste again. This one was harvested with less amber and it’s the BOMB. I can wake-n-bake it and I’m still able to work through the morning nicely with just lovely head rush feeling and smile on my face.. Only if I could get this flavor on F1 looking buds So yummy .. And one little tip, I really enjoyed pairing this pheno with both champagne/sparkling wine, the bubbles and flavor profile just takes the tropical flavors of Fruit to the next level...

I just took first buds from each jar, wasnt looking for the nicest ones and my hands are bit shaking today so its not top notch quality ..

That taste is so lovely that Im thinking about using friends rosin press... Just curious .. maybe there will be one more update

Overall it was def pleasure to grow and will do again, but with me already being on two grow battles scheduled for start of new year, Ill see how the space in the tent goes, otherwise its waiting one round till autumn (I can run only 2 runs per year, deal with gfriend .. you know how it goes .. ) So Ill see ya next time.
