Greetings DP inhalers and ingesters

For a stealth grow in a shed with a public walkway right on the other side of a brick wall, which of Think Different, Auto Extreme and Auto Ultimate is the least smelly strain?

Yeah, the shed is airproofed with silicone and foam, and there will be a recirculating carbon filter system grossly oversized in the shed, with the growing room area being 1.30 x 0.85 x 2.25 m, but short of building a pressurised airlock contraption worthy of a space station for the grower who hasn't yet developed the ability to float through closed doors to enter and exit the botanical exercise arena, the door has to open at regular intervals. Said door being about a meter from the walkway where locomotive dog owners, strollers and such enjoy their constitutionals and airs their toddlers.

One whiff of canna into the wrong nose could have unwanted serious consequences.

I'm thinking 3 plants in this grow room in 30 L airports and a similar sized bubble pot just to be difficult, AND given I plan to grow normal sized plants au contraire to the midgets that TaNg, Sultan Magnamoto et. al. are dabbling with(did I really say that... !!! ), what is the recommendation for the most stealthy, least smelly strain?

Corgy, this a part of DutchpassionTonys answer to me two days ago:
Think Different is probably our lowest odour automatic, so it is difficult to recommend another variety with such a low aroma.

Thanks, did he post that, if so I missed it.

I would agree that TD is the least smelly BUT it will still smell so you NEED a carbon filter. Remember the Three growing rules.... No Tell,No smell,No sell.

Believe me, my lips are sealed with superglue, tarred and plastered for good measure.

Yeah, there will be a good sized filter system, 2 in fact, each having a speed controlled fan,....belt and suspenders.....redundancy and backup just in case.

Knowing you have grown all 3 strains, which is the most smelly?

I am hooked on the Ultimate, your fault by the way, Man, you have a lot to answer for..... Lol, but until I get the Tent rigged up in the loft, better safe than sorry. I see this as a superb grow challenge, and thanks to you, and others setting the standards and raising the bar, this should be real fun for years to come. Dabble with tomatoes too, but dunno why, it just doesn't get the juices flowing the same way as this. The product is actually mostly for my wife who is getting over cancer surgery, and while the coffee shops here makes it supermarket like to get canna, it ain't much fun, too easy.... Lol

Thanks a thousand for the reply:tiphat:

Just in case DP Tony reads this, I want to try sticking the new Frisian Duck in a shrub area not far from the garden, plenty brambles and stinging nettles there so relatively safe from playing kids, how smelly is the Duckie?

Thanks Tony, yeah I saw this

"Because the strong cannabis aroma is the same as traditional cannabis this variety will still need carbon filters for indoor grows"

I guess it isn't really a garden plant then and needs a....... ummmmmm....... secluded spot with not too much pedestrian traffic, even though it also says

"And with her beautiful purple colours a Frisian Duck be perfect in the flower bed next to your flowering shrubs", ............but what about the aroma wafting about???

Well what I can tell you is the AU is a friggin beast. Not that you didn't already know that.I now have a lovely fruity / lemony aroma in my tent from it. You need, need, need extra added epsom salts / mg when growing it however. As I have found out from mine, i'm having to feed epsom salts added to a weak nutrient mixture every few waterings to keep the leaves green.

When I grew my 1LB Think Different I actually did it without a carbon filter also near a footpath. On top of that was with a 600W HPS blasting right down on top of it from about 20-30cm away with the added heat of summer. Definitely got some strong whifs of canna on the warm days towards the end, but shows smell isnt unmanageable.

That frisian duck looks amazing! I love unique looking strains

Thanks bambus, good advice. Regarding the mg, how much do you use, and is it possible to overdo it, what I mean is can too much mg be toxic/stunt growth, or will the plant take what it needs and be unconcerned about any excess?

I will try 3 Frisian Ducks come April hiding in plain sight amongst some shrubs, I will be able to see them from the garden, and can even water them with a jet of water over the hedge if need be.... If 1 or more pans out, bob's ya uncle, if not, life will go on.....
