Found little brown/black balls on my buda

Went to check on my outdoor grow and found about 10 of these little balls on my buds, yesterday something came along in the night and chewed up my leaves pretty badly, whatever it was it didnt leave holes but chewed straight from the side of the leave. Idk if its related to the balls. Any idea what might be causing this? All help is appreciated.

no idea what it is, but outdoors you will find lots of different things that find your plants attractive. you could spray it with some soapy water, some people like to add cayene pepper, others do totally different things. your plants look young enough to where any sprays shouldnt affect the buds i think. if you decide to spray, spray in the evening whem the sun is getting lower so you dont just have it evaporate.
