So guys. It's comeing close to that time. Next saturday I'm cuting the most mature of the ladies. then the following saturday after that i'll harvest 1-2 more. then a couple week before next harvest. So the question.

So how do you guys go about flushing. I understand the concept of flusing with water with out nutrients for the last 8-14 days.

Do you ph the water before flusing? and what water do you use? distilled? spring? how many times should i flush between now and the 15th?

little bit of details. 4 gallons of soil. FFOF using Earth Juice Nutrients and for the last 3 weeks i've been using Botanical Cal Mag plus.

yes 8-14 s good... use plain ph'ed water (6.3-6.5 ph) I personally use rainwater for all mine... if you arent bubbling your water I'd reccomend you start... this can be done throughout the grow process.

number of times is really dependent on the plant suptake... you want to get a little dryer than normal at the end to help the plants finish up and start to dry out a little... but at the same time you want to be flushing... i'd reccomend you use the "knuckle method" to determine next watering.... susually during growing you'd put your finger in to the second knuckle in the soil... you'll be able to feel the moisture content... ordinarily, you'd want it fairly moist... but like i said... dry it out a bit at the end... i find every three days in my enviro is ok.... but i have different soil and possily dif contitions than you. hope this helps

So since i want to harvest next saturday. So can i flush Thur, Fri, and Saturday. then let it dry out for 7 day til harvesT? will that be suffice? and adding PH up or PH down isn't going to hurt the flush?

Sorry to jump on your thread. But I had a couple of friends who told me this. Chop the plant and place it in water and that's another way to flush. Would this work?

Being 100% organic, I seldom flush specifically...just ramp down nutes the last couple of weeks...then only water lasst few days....Using very small pots...1.5 ltr...it's really easy to tell how dry they are....I use well water...never ph...but when checked, it's always 6.5- 7.....our well is pretty deep so we're getting the best of nature pretty much...we are lucky to be in a region where our water is excellent to drink !!! One thing I can rule out is water probs....
