It's not a toilet....lol. Flushing is an urban legend at best. All it does is deny your plants crucial nutes at one of the most critical times. You'll get all sorts of answers here. I've isolated it though and gone polar opposite on the same plants. Overdose of nutes on one and complete clean water flush on the other. The ONLY difference was the size of the buds. The water side was smaller by a considerable amount. It's an old wives tale. Use good nutes and keep on trucking right till harvest day.

THEY'RE called KAAAAHBS Joe's dad's stuff

Does it affect the taste?

Some people say yes , some no. I use mostly organic nutes and no complaints. In the last week I just water as I don't want to waste any nutrients when I'm cutting anyway and I'm sure some nutes are still in the soil. Doesn't seem to bother them.

I’m organic too so won’t be bothering too much then......

Neither I or anyone else could detect anything whatsoever. NADA. And I use mostly chemical 3 part fertilizers with some good ole fashioned organic supplements, like humic-fulvic in my noot solution and mycorrhizae on my starter plugs, and I like to keep some bat guano around for quick N blasts if I see any deficiency or yellowing.

I have gotten nothing but compliments on the quality and flavor of the finished products. I attribute that to solid growing techniques and killer genetics (mainly Mephisto). I have grown a few other breeders and always wish I planted a Phist instead. Variety is the spice of life...but Mitch and Co. got more than enough to satisfy that...lol. Just sell a sack or three and there ya go, new seed money. This shit pays for itself!!! Let her ride...keep on going till it looks done. Don't trust ANYTHING when it comes to how old a plant is or how long a particular strain says it's SUPPOSED to go. That's just the average for the pheno that represents a strain. You can get oddballs and have some dormant traits pop out. I've seen plants that say 75 days go all the way to 120. The more you grow any given crop, the more you'll know what it's "supposed" to look like, and be able to spot the weirdo phenotypes. Gotta love the strange ones though, as they can get HUGE and unruly...lol. Let the plants decide when they get the ax. The ladies will tell you when it's time. I would invest in a loupe or cheap plastic mini microscope from Amazon river or Electronic bay...$8-10 delivered. Peep them trichs and harvest at the optimum time. Even without a fancy spyglass, you can tell when she is ready though...just not as precisely. That looks like it's got at least a few weeks to go still....don't get trigger happy.

Another good investment is a proper Japanese Katana. You take a ninja level swing and chop your plant in one swipe. It detaches the plant so fast that you won't lose any THC back into the roots. Not really, lol....but I bet it looks awesome and all your friends will be super jelly.
