Hey guys. Got a quick question since I now realized I have to flush more due to build ups in soil.

Basically my question is whether I can flush and then give my plant a feeding at the end or should I wait until the next time I water?

Thanks.
Karl

You’ll hear this in many different ways on here, But flushing in general is more personal preference than anything else...

...unless it’s mid-grow and you need to flush because you’re rocking some form of lock-out.

Let me clarify, I need to flush since there is a high ppm buildup in the soil. I'm talking like 2000-3000ppm.

So, feed right after flush or give the soil a chance to dry?

Cheers

At the top of the infirmary there is a form, more info is needed to give you anything more than a shotgun answer. Fill it out and good options will follow.

Well I was really just trying to figure if people feed straight after a flush or wait a few days. I'm not trying to diagnose or fix a plant or grow.

Cheers

flushing for issues is not recommended unless no other option in soil. Where are you taking a reading of from?

Soil should have the appropriate nutrients after a flush. It cannot be flushed clean.

Coco is a flush, then a light feed and go medium.

I'm measuring plain ph'd water going in and collecting run offs. In a current grow that I flushed on the weekend I poured in plain water at 50ppm and it gushed out with 3000ppm.

The nutrients I'm feeding are AN pH balanced sensi grow and bloom. When I mix up a gallon the ppm stand at 1000. So the soil had a significant amount in it. I brought it back down to the 500 after about 4 gallons.

I'm looking at doing this with two other plants I have. They are not showing signs of issues but I expect this to change if I don't address it.

Given soil is bagged with amendments and some with time released fertz, testing runoff In soil is pointless unless you are using soil that has 0% of anything. Sounds like you should move to coco.
