Hi everyone,

I've got a plant about 2 weeks into flower. I'm concerned that i'm experiencing some nute lockout and thinking about flushing her out this weekend. It's in FFHF soil and am seeing more yellowing at the bottom of the fan leaves, along with rust spots on some newer growth, red fan leave stems, and an overall light greenish color. She was last fed about 3 days ago and just been given ph'd water but have been doing this for about 2 weeks. Seems like she's getting a Nitrogen lockout. What are the pro/cons of flushing in soil and what ratio of water per 2 gallon pot? I've got couple of other posts of the same plant with pictures but for different question and just wanted to get some thoughts around flushing.

Not able to help with nute lockout sorry, not my area. I grow in soil to avoid this stuff so not sure how you've got it there. Definitely a lockout and not a calcium or magnesium def?

When I tried to flush my soil it ruined my plant, which had nitrogen toxicity. The soil just got waterlogged and stayed that way, and it only pulled more nitrogen out of the soil and into the roots. I think it's a hydro principle that you don't see so often in soil growing.

Take pics and upload to the infirmary, so you know exactly what you're dealing with. Then with soil just try to add what it needs instead of flushing. :smokeit:

I agree, post in the infirmary with a list of bullets covering your setup and environment, and a pic. More experienced growers such as Man O Green can provide feedback.

Deffinatly a question for the infirmary

What's the ph of your soil?? I've grown in happy frog alot and it's not a hot soil at all. Are you feeding or just using the happy frog soil
