I flushed this Sour Crack 17 days ago and have been feeding plain water since. All of the large leaves became dry/yellow and have been removed. The trichomes have barely ripened in the last 2 weeks and I don't know whether a light feed is a good idea at this point or if the damage is done?

I've not heard of a Sour Crack going this long and I was sure it would be done by now 3 weeks ago. Seeing roughly 50/50 clear/milky and maybe 1% amber. I've watered with cold water and reduced the light to try to speed up ripening but no luck it would appear.

I am using pm organic nutrients in soil.

Thanks guys, sorry i forgot to mention it is on day 78. I see nearly everyone take there's at 55-65 days though this did suffer n toxicity for a few weeks.

I have grown at least 6 Sour Cracks and never went more than 60 days.
I will try to put pics up this evening
Jackson.

I don't see anybody taking plants that early. 78 days is a pretty standard time for most of my plants. Obviously from my signature I don't think there is ever a reason to starve a growing plant. Agree with the comments about some plants not ambering, my White Crack never went amber when I took it at ~ 80 days and it's the most potent strain I've ever grown.

Here’s a pic of my Sour Crack at 63 days and will be chopped this weekend.

Thoughts?

I'm not a master by any means, but I've grown a few sour crack and am doing a lot of work growing through some again right now and from my few previous grows with sc and what not, and I'm with everyone else. Plants dont always amber up like others do. Anyway, I dont go till amber, my question is do the buds feel crunchy? Does it smell strong still or does it smell less and less? If its smelling less then the terpine are lessening and the plant is past prime and the terpines are degrading.

I have taken a dwc Tyrone special (old mephisto ltd sour crack x green crack) at 60 days and got approx 125g and multiple toof decay at 60 days with 60g dry all with all cloudy trichomes. Sour crack I've taken down at day 60 with cloudy trichs. When grape crinkle was on the market I could always count on a 60 day harvest... oh I miss grape crinkle... got a single see of that left.

I dont do amber trichomes. I dont see why the need to have degraded cannabinoids and terpenes in my buds. Other strains differ but those few (toof decay, sour crack, Tyrone special, grape crinkle) I can usually get a 60 to 65 day harvest). I had a plant from autoseeds that was growing for 85 days and it only was cloudy with no amber showing and it was definitely beyond done with pistils all brown and everything so it was obviously done... sometimes you cant really tell:shrug:

:toke: Sloth, why did you flush when using organics? No need at all in organics, and she's been starved for 17 days more which may actually lessen quality, she needs some nutes to finish well... Tapping into fans isn't enough either, not all nutrients are mobile within the plant, and even for those that are, it's takes wasted energy to metabolize and transport them to the buds.
In any case, she looks done to me too, and trying to get feeds back in now will not be much help,... Cold water, not sure what that's about, all that does is temp. shock the roots and retard nutrient uptake and transport.... light hour reduction will hamper things as well(less energy made basically), that's only related to triggering bloom in photosensitive's, it's moot in auto's....
Only place you should be seeing truly clear trich's is on the newer calyxes, usually with white pistils... Degree of cloudiness can vary, some just barely, others like milk almost....
