if it's in the grow medium it is in the plant.
You don't have to worry about the yucky stuff getting into the plant. It's broken down by then. If not I'm sure my tomatoes and such from this summer would have made me sick. I don't flush my veggies before harvest.

no matter how much the herd break's down the nutrien'ts the root's will still deliver small amount's of everything to the plant matter. even with nonflushed tomato's. look's like we agree to disagree.
