I read some times “autoflowering plants start flowering when their roots reach the bottom of the pot. The longer it takes for the root of the plant to reach the end of the pot, the taller the plant.”

So how air-pots works? The roots touch the walls of the pot and the flowering start?

myth?

Of course it's a myth. You could start them in 1L Netpots and the taproot would reach the bottom within a week.

The truth is, vegetative growth starts when the roots hit the bottom of the pot. Plants grow the main body of their root mass before developing much leaf. It has no bearing on flowering
