Flowering PHOTO under 18/6?

I know.... I know!!!!! 12/12 jackhole!! I can hear you from here! [emoji23][emoji23] but heres the thing...
I always hear things about photo growers need to avoid root binding as it induces flowering.
Soooooo would it just herm out 100% of the time ORRRRR could i just grow a rootbound plant? Say in a 2 inch pot. A tiny little 1 or 2 gram plant. Would it flower to completion on the 18/6? Just taking less or more time?
Anyone tried this? Or am i nuts?

Small pot will not induce flowering, light or better to say lenght of the night will induce it.
14/10 is the maximum.

If it's a photo, the only thing that will induce flowering is a reduction of the light cycle. They're "photosensitive " if you leave it on 18/6 it will remain in vegetative growth, no matter your cup size.

Run photos along side the autos, when the autos finish, flip to 12/12. I've done it a couple times, photo Vegges while the autos flower, then flower the photos

I just did that with 4 autos to 1 photo. The autos are finishing up and the photo is huge. I suggest that if you do a photo with autos, add the photo later in the game, maybe once the autos start flowering. My photo grew to almost unmanageable size.

I would but i cant afford the switch. I plant an average of 1 a week on a perpetual shared tent.

If you really want that plant to flower out. You COULD switch to 12-12 until she finishes and still run your autos in there. Would greatly decrease the size of the autos.......BUT its only for the short term for your photo to finish up and the photo will produce enough to keep you lit.

I didnt have high hopes of success. Considering i was hoping on inducing flowering through stress.

I wouldnt want to waste the production by cutting 30% of the light for my autos. Its all good.
