I’m finding mixed answers and directions for this stuff. I’d like to add it to two of my girls to rid some salts and somewhat give me a fresh medium.

I’m using coco and wondering if I can just make a feed as normal (I use salt feeds though - advanced nutrients). So I’m assuming by adding FLORAkleen as an additive it will just kill off the nutrient solution?

So my question is do I strictly have to create a water only feed with FLORAkleen and ph it myself? Feed until a bit of run off as usual then feed with normal feed next day? I don’t feel too smoothly with adding plain water to my coco medium that’s why I’m concerned.

Any advice will be appreciated
Thx :smoking:

According to cocoforcannabis.com:

"Simply replace the nutrient solution at one fertigation event with plain water mixed with Florakleen at 5ml/gallon. Resume fertigation at the next event and monitor symptoms. Old damage will not improve, but new symptoms should stop presenting. "

FloraKleen definitely isn't meant to be used as an additive. Just a standalone thing.

Having said that, if the plant isn't showing any signs of serious lockout and you just want to reduce EC, I wouldn't bother with the FloraKleen at all. Just fertigate with roughly half the ppm/EC as normal, and apply twice as much water volume. Then repeat until your run-off EC is where you want it to be.
