Hi !

I just finished my first ever grow in a 40x40x120cm grow tent with a 55w COB (TLG star 60) https://www.todogrowled.com/gb/tgl-led-grow-lights/1-led-grow-light-tgl-star-60.html.
It was a Fastbuds GSC that went 13 weeks and yielded me 72 gr dry ( 1st day curing today).
I am really happy with this as it was my first grow but I realise that the grow tent is to small because I had to defoliate way more that I'd like.
No room for humidifier etc.

So the grow tent I have now has been inside a vardrobe 55x57x200cm with the door open so I can close ( for a short while) it in case of unwanted visitors.

So my question is
1. Should I get like a 60x60x160 cm grow tent and just cut the frame to fit inside the vardrobe ( and make in and exhaust holes in the vardrobe so I can have it closed all time.
2. Just use vardrobe as is ( with same mods as in alt 1.

If 2 Do I need to do anything else to the wardrobe ( besides airtightening it as best as I can) ?
Will moisture be a problem ?

Thanks

i grow in a bricked up built in wardrobe/cupboard.other than punch a 4" hole through to the attick.air comes in through the crack in the door.
is this to be stealthy at all ?

This is an important question. Making a cabinet light proof is VERY difficult in my experience. I once spent every evening and weekend for 2 weeks figuring out ways to make no light sneak out of doors, vents etc. It is a serious task...

If you don't care about light leaking out etc. then it's no biggie.

@archie space gemmill Ye this has to be stealthy.
My biggest consern with using as is is what the humidity will do to the wardrobe after some time hence why I thought of getting a grow tent slightly larger than wardrobe and then fit it so I dont have to think of humidity and as @Animatey said getting it light proof ( not concerned of light leaks for the growing part as I will continue growing autos ) but I dont want ppl to wonder why there is light comming from inside the wardrobe :P

i have a sheet of mylar and 2 rugs on curtain poles hanging behind the door to block light but allow air in.
the humidity will creep into the wood,,,but real slow im sure you get a couple or 3 of years out of it.
maybe cover the insides with mylar,in as few a sheets as possible ? wrap around rather than cut each panel.so it will block light but allow air in,,,assuming a fan/filter is sucking air out negative pressure will control smells.them foam or rubber window/door seals for round the edges.
raise the bottom a smidge and drill holes underneath ?

the cupboard is in the box room ,and i have taken the pin out of the box rooms door handle.unless ya have a screwdriver or a stiff shoulder you not getting into the box room to get a ganzie at any light that may escape :coffee:
