First time with autos, starting in final 5gal. Watering tips?

Hey all started some autos in 5gal fabrics and they just broke soil today. Im using pure sunshine mix 4. I have been using a spray bottle and keep the soil moist in a 2" diameter but will soon use a watering can and move farther out. Just curious if you had any tips or if I should just get the whole pot wet now?

I use a turkey baster 1 to 2 of those full works well till day 12 to 14 I think it's something like 100mls to 200mls of water. I wouldn't soak it bc that will slow overall growth give me a tag if you need anything I will do my best to offer up any info I can bud.

Thanks dude. I actually messed up as at first I did exactly what you said then I had people elsewhere asking why im not watering the whole pot and I should as autos grow quick bla bla bla. So I watered to run off and left it. They seem fine but well see how it goes over the next few days. Next time I need to water il just water around the edge a little bit.

Ya you want the roots to search for the water a bit I generally start by using the baseball method I water in a circle@ the size of a baseball wide for first 7 or 8 days then slowly increase the size of the circle as days progress by day 15 I'm watering the whole area but not soaking it to run off if using coco or similar then I would do it to run off can't wait to see how she does. Wat kind of medium is it if it is soil u don't want it to wet or root rot can occur aswell as the water will increase or decrease ph overtime.

Sunshine mix 4 which drains pretty well. I water mostly away from the seedling and im pretty sure its slowing the grow, mind you its only been 2 days. Im wondering I can fix it somehow. Check these pics out.

They look ok just remember to keep ur ph in the safe range it looks good though that bit of curl could be calmag but honestly not much that can be done also some are just odd looking till u get the first real set of leaves or 2nd set and some are mutants lol but hard to tell. And u want to water close to the center u don't need to drown it but you don't want to water to far away or it could stress them
