New Grower first time paranoid

my seeds sprout about 2 days ago then ive put them in their pot in a small hole of about 1 inches. two days later i see no sign of life im probably a bit unpatient but i want to know how long it suppose to take for the germinated seed to make is way up and if it dosent is there anything i can do to help

Since you planted it an inch deep, it may take a few days. I normally plant mine about 1/4" deep and they pop the next day or a couple days later. They should be okay, but it is going to take longer.

I've never had much luck with helping a seed break ground. Maybe someone else has a solution for that.

Me either, i have germed in paper towel, put in soil and had quite a few that never broke the surface, i ruined a whole pack of Critical Mass :no: and a pack of MI5's
Now i got me a seed starter kit that i just put into use and my Maxi Goms seem to love it

First off, welcome to the wonderful forum of Auto Flowers.

An inch deep is a little deep. Quarter inch is good like Joe Dirt says. I planted my Northern Lights that deep after germinating and she isn't doing so well. Growing reallly slow. BUT. I am pretty sure I have some slight ph issues so I wouldn't worry about yours. Just wait another day or two. Keep it damp but not wet and cover it with a plastic cup or plastic wrap to keep the moisture and humidity in that will help.
I am also looking into buying a seed starter kit I have heard the work wonders which makes sense. It's basically a plastic tray with a 'greenhouse' humidity dome that fits secure over the top and all of that sits on a heating pad. I'm sure it works like a charm. They range from around $30-65 from what I have seen. Hope it works out for you.
