New Grower First time grower looking for advice.

Hi guys, i'm new to the forum and have recently become really interested in growing. I have already found a setup etc which i will post:

Is this a good starting point? I live in an apartment with my mum and my room is fairly small. I've already figured out most of the practical stuff (setting up the tent etc) the main thing i'm worried about is all the nutrients and general botany and growing of plants which i have basically 0 experience. I need to know how and when to administer nutrients and all the pH stuff i'm completely newbie to the whole thing, lol.

Im 25 and i live in the UK. I've been blazing since i was 18 (apart from a year break from 23-24) and i have come to the point where i can no longer go and pick up some old, tasteless amnesia or cheese every single time. Don't get me wrong, the stuff is nice on occasion, but its just too inconsistent and its getting worse for sure. Anyone who could point me to some kind of long informative tutorial to indoor tent growing or even offer first hand advice themselves, i'd appreciate it. I know its illegal where i am but fuck it, ive had enough of the shit bud.

Its all here. All of it. Just start reading. What do you want grow and how do you want to grow it?
Hydro, organic soil or another one of a dozen methods. Read and read some more before you start.
It is really simple to grow weed so don't over think it.
Herbie's in the UK has a fantastic seed bank to purchase seeds from and everything you need to know is
right here on this site.
Everyone here has developed their own systems so one type doesn't fit everywhere.
Don't be afraid to experiment and fail because it is only a weed. It will grow in the crack of your driveway.
Producing premium bud takes little skill and knowledge but it is still easy.

I'm a novice in to growing, who is currently taking care of my 3. grow. I found that forums can be tricky if u are new to this, because (as White Punk said) everyone has developed their own system. So their advice is (sometimes) difficult to follow in your setup. I found a website (http://www.growweedeasy.com) that explained all what was needed to know, to get some basic knowledge before start.
I dunno if u can use any of my stoned thoughts, but that was my approach...

I hope u succeed big time, good luck with it.

Thanks for the advice man!

Basically, I am planning to grow soil based plants in a 1.2m x 1.2 x 185cm grow tent. Obviously legality is an issue where I live so I'm trying to be as discreet as possible and autoflowers are alot smaller so I think I'll go with those. My smoke will be strictly for personal use and I am just a guy who loves weed so much that I can't smoke the crap from the streets anymore, as well as keep up the costs. Is there any major difference in quality between hydroponics and soil grows? Thanks again all advice is appreciated!

My recommendation is to start in the dirt. Hydro will produce maybe a larger quantity but
as far as quality I know I grow some of the best weed anywhere. Hydro or dirt.
Soil is simple, can be reused time and time again and doesn't require constant monitoring to
be sure everything is perfect as with hydro. Liquid chemical notes is not my gig.
I feed my version of "Super Soil" PH'd water and molasses and let the plant take what it wants.
Therefore start here. Soil (takes time to get it ready). Lighting (I use LED). Pots (several choices here,
I use airpots). Are you going to grow autos or photoperiod plants? Again, don't fill your head with to much
to start with. Dumb it down and keep it simple. There is plenty of time to hone your craft and be
the big swinging dick guy in your neighborhood with the best weed.

Regarding the kit, check out items separately as well, we'll help. Depending on the lights, air pump, etc, it could be a good or bad package.

You can get a tent at Amazon for about US $70, a good light (Mars300) for about $79. The buckets you can get at any store near you and cut holes on them. Airline tubing you get at fish tank shops, a nice starter air pump is about $20 and air stones are cheap...

I am planning to grow around 4 autoplants. Another guy who has the same size tent said 4 is pretty much the max. How much is super soil? I have already found a kit I'm considering, it's a 600W dual spectrum and I'm getting a 5" RVK in line with a rhino filter to go with it. I just don't know what nutrients and when to use them etc (basically I've never grown a plant before, and if problems arise I don't wanna panic) thanks for the help man! I'm buying the equipment soon and should be making a thread.

Hey @Lewis Benny , in the same boat as you, got fed up of scoring every week and hunting that weed fairy out...its only taken me 26yr of smoking to get round to growing. I've just started and on my first grow, got a journal going follow this link. I'm keeping it simple with soil and organic nutes.
My best advice and only advice until get a few of grows under my belt (I'm UK as well), go LED that will keep your parra down on a heat signature. I have the old bill helicopter flying over all the time and my grow is in the loft but i think that the least risky part.
Go for that rhino filter its a must and the muts nuts...
Don't tell your mates, i mean it...full stop...that's whats gonna get you busted. There have been a few busts in my neighborhood, mainly dicks who don't filter properly. Its amazing how much a few plants can smell. Plus they where pretty obvious about it, word was about town. All taken down before there first harvest.
Depending where you are in the UK keep your plants to no more than 4 and you should be safe if it go's wrong.
Start a journal and keep all notes and pics on this site, delete every thing and store nothing on your lap top or phone... if you do get busted it was your first grow every time, they will hold past grows against you.
