So I was inspecting my plants (just watered Friday) and noticed a spot on one of my leafs… any help on what this could possibly be the start of? I’m thinking it could be the start of Calmag? But I would like a set of eyes from someone more experienced than myself! Thank you for all the help in advance!

Any chance you dropped a few drops of nute water on that part of the leaf? And, yes, I've proven that to be a sure fire way to damage a leaf. :-) That explains the localized change in color and sharp margins.

It looks like some of the leaf edges are curling but that could be camera angle so "more information is needed", one, because I'm a hydro grower and pretty new (starting third grow) and, second, nute deficiencies seem not to be a result of insufficient nutrients in the fertilizer or soil but tend to be self-inflicted, ie as a result of lockout.

It would be very helpful if you were to include more pictures of the plant and the grow environment, as well as details about the grow including what soil, feeding/watering schedule, etc. More detail better than less detail.

I am using Great Lakes living soil with Roots organic Microb charge 1Ts-1 Tbsp per gallon of water when feeding (once or twice per week) but other than that I just water every 2-3 days or so. I try to let the plant do all the work! Here is the picture of the whole plant…

Yep I had same few spots one leaf exactly where I dropped water on it. Live and learn! (Was very stoked when I realized that’s all it was haha)

Me personally I dont worry about a few spots on leaves. Ill keep an eye on it. But most the time its nothing. I wouldnt sweat it. As long as the new growth looks good. I roll with it.
