hey guys n gals new to the site hope y'all can help out, me n a buddys first grow thought itd be a nice summer hobby to do on our downtime, well so far we have not seen any growth and its been 2 weeks since we dropped em in the pots.
we used: 2 auto pounders
1 nl x nl
1 black destroyer (bought from seaofseeds)
we found a nice secluded spot planned for a guerilla, at first we thought about doing them directly in the ground but thought itd be easier to manage in pots, got 4 lrg pot/buckets fenced them in and we were rdy to go.. seeds germinated properly and we put them in 2 weeks ago, we flushed the soil (normal miracle grow potting soil) popped em in and didnt water but a few days in we were getting thunder storms/torrential downpour so we covered them with plastic for a few days a little water leaked thru and rain was happening pretty much every other day so for a about a week we kept on re wrapping n hoping it wouldnt drown the seeds.. like i said its been almost 2 weeks and no growth... were kinda let down were just looking for a plausible miss step we took so we dont do the same mistake again.

so now fast forward to this past weekend we were getting agitated and thought we would try to germ. 2 and start them indoors in plastic cups (holes drilled on bottom) to see some initial growth and eventually transplant them, we dropped the seeds on sunday covered them w/ plastic & havent watered or anything and nothing so far... are our seeds duds.. are we duds? idk jsut need some adivce/guidance please & thank you ppl

Hi, and welcome. head on over to the introductions forum and say hello to everyone. You'll find this a very responsive place with lot's of experienced smart people. Managing an outdoor can be difficult even if you are around all the time. Couple things. Miracle grow is not good soil for cannabis plants. There a re a ton of good products out there, read up on some people's journals in the new grower's forum to see what they've used. Also, if you are going to go guerrilla, you should wait until the plants are a little more established before leaving them alone in the wild. Seedlings are delicate. Maybe germinate in a more controllable environment (you'll find tons of info online about germination techniques) and do the first part of the the grow in stealth closer to home in a smaller pot. Then transplant when it's about 8"-12" tall and has a sturdy stem. Then, prep a 5 Gallon bucket with a good soil and a draining agent such as perlite, make sure you have good drainage holes drilled in the bottom and the bucket sits on some gravel or rocks to keep it off the ground. Once it gets going and if it gets at least 5+ hours of DIRECT sunlight per day and plenty of indirect sun too. Water and feed 2-3 times per week and you should be on your way. I'm sure others will add in some valuable info here as well.

ps. seeds can sometimes take 4-7 days to pop. Be patient, water a little from the bottom to encourage the tap root to head down. What medium are you germinating in? What is the temperature where you are germinating?

I have put a link to a germination thread in your introduction, It should be helpful :)
