First Time Breeding Autoblueberry

My goal is it to create a relatively true breeding regular version of the Dutch Passion Autoblueberry for my own personal enjoyment.


As of right now i never grew out that one but after doing some research on the net and seeing the strain review and grow report from bseals1985 on AFN, I think this could be for me. I sometimes have some photosensitive Blueberries going and like them very much.

Here the idea:

(Autoblueberry(f) x ShortStuff Mix(m))(m) x Autoblueberry (f)

= relativly stable Autoblueberry which could be refined in forward going crosses

This Fall I will put some Short Stuff Mix seeds in to find me a (if possible) trichome covered delicious smelling well formed stud, put the stored Pollen on the most fruity smelling fem AB and backross the fruitiest and most colorful resulting Male to a fem AB. Breeding will probably be done outdoors. I was thinking of leaving the photosensitive BB out of the process as i am afraid that it would take me to many crosses to get back to 100% autoflowering. The most important factors for selection being smell/flavor/taste and high (from early test-buds). Yield is not that important to me.

What do you think? Advice and Info is always appreciated!

Any advice on flour to pollen mix ratio would be a great help! As this is the first time that i will store Pollen for later use and I want it to last if something goes awry...

As for Male selection I will use this Thread as a Grow/Breeding Journal so I hope you will help me finding the best ones!

Hey Snob,

I am very interested in your post as it is my intention to breed the DP Blue as well. I have some DP Blue Fems ordered along with SS Blue Himalaya Regular. I am hoping to get a few good males out of the SS stock and cross one with the DP. I will keep you updated on my progress on this post. Please do the same. I am absolutely new to Autos, this is my first grow but have been growing photos for about 15 years.

Please do nice to have you! :coffe: I will start my project outdoors this spring. Like that I can grow out more plants to look for the right pollen donor.

Maybe grabs seeds from each, run 'em & see which you like, then cross as needed.

Maybe in the future. This one is just for fun and to see how it goes...

What do you think about the BHD from Short Stuff? I saw some grow reports and she looks promising as well.

What are your favorite versions of Autoblueberry compared to a nice fruity pheno of the original?

Yep, same here TBM. I have grown Blueberry, Northern Lights and White Widow for years from a seed strain that goes back 15 years with me. No telling how long prior to my acquiring them.

Will try her out sometime then! The BHD sounds good though as well. Gotta run on heavy fuel.

Is the BHD bred from Somas NYCD or the SourDiesel? Just wondering...
