First grow, when will the stretch stop?

First grow, day 35 from sprout. 70/30 coco/perlite, 5gal fabric pots. GH Trio and a few other odds and ends. 630w CMH, plus 2x 2700K and 4x 3500K Autocobs from Cobshop. Left 3 are Gorilla Glue, right 3 are Tangerine Dream, autos from Grower's Choice (next run will be Mephisto!).

I don't have any experience to reference, but these girls seem to be exploding. They were a bit droopy today at lights on, but perked right up after I fed them. Back right tangie has had issues since sprout, leaf taco hasn't stopped much but she's been trucking along.

Should I defoliate at all? I've taken a few lower fans off here and there, but nothing significant.

Any idea when the stretch will stop? Not sure if setting up a scrog net would be worth it.

First pic was about 8 days ago, second pic was about an hour ago.

Any and all input or advice is greatly appreciated!

I just harvested a gg from gcs. For me stretching stopped in week five to six of flower.

Curious you mentioned next grow is Mephisto, why?

I can't really see if you started flowering yet but i would 12/12 it till it does then go back to what ever you like.

Autos flower based on maturity not a light schedule. If a light schedule influences flowering then it is not an auto but a photo.

No worries, sometimes you get a crazy seed, and are like wtf this thing isn’t flowering and you pop the 12/12 and sure as shit she starts flowering.

They're for sure starting to flower, pistils appearing all over the past couple days. Starting to stank too, even with a carbon filter I can smell them when I walk in my front door.

Doing a Mephisto run next because I like everything I've read, seem to be a very solid breeder. Plus I already have the seeds. Going to be doing a lot of grows with them actually, I split 21 seed order with a buddy and Mephisto sent us 50
