New Grower First grow update

Hello all;
Im use a 6 ft table in extra bedroom. plants under 3.5 ft area 4 at this time.
400 watt hps
10 clf
Soil is a mix of mine black cow, worm castings, top soil. it drains very well.
Im on 4 to 5 day watering schedule. I have my water in 5 gal with a air stone.
my ph has stayed at 6.5 to 6.9 all the through now at 61 days.
The only nut I have used is cal mag and i use it every other watering. started that at 4 weeks.
Plants are in 4 gal containers 3.5 to 3.75 gal of soil.
The purple express is 35" in 27" wide
The ak49 is 25 and 26 wide.
So here are my new pics.

I'm just loving those pinky/purple hues of the purple express.

Lovely lookin AK49 too.

On the Purple Express, I see a few leaves are folded and are curling down sometimes reffered to as the claw, often seen with high Nitrogen levels but you leave look quite a light colour.

Maybe the light colour is due to the camera?

Is there anything you can tell us about how dark the leaves are?

I also wonder do you check your soil Ph?

On the whole they are looking like they are doing the bizz.

Ya that happened around day 40 or so. both plants have the same soil mix of my own. The mix i have use for photo. grows in past. See top part of post for mix i use. I will have to adjust it, for autos. the purple needs less N and more K and P. Where the AK49 is ok with it.
The leaves on the purple are a liter green or greenish yellow. This my 2nd run with it and the leaves are the same as before. The only nut I have used is cal mag. every other water started at 4 weeks. Watering 4 to 5 days.
My Ph has stayed 6.5 to 6.9 this whole time. My water here is at 7 to 7.2. So I have 2, 5 gal with water and air stones.

Tonight I will take some pic after lights go off.

Sounds like you got a handle on it,I just wanted to give you my input.
Great that you make your own soil, not something I do myself, so it is of interest when others do.

all i can say about ak49 is could be long time before its over mine is at 73 days and still going.

welcome to afn great info here just learn these people know what their doing. some are MASTER growers.
THey have forgotten more then some of may ever know. ( and not because they smoke too much weed ) well maybe haha.
